We’ve been asked to share the following opportunities with you:

The Board of Veterans’ Appeals is currently seeking to fill many vacant Veterans Law Judge positions. The duty location is negotiable after selection.

Veterans Law Judges occupy unique positions of trust. They are appointed by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, subject to approval by the President.

Veterans Law Judges preside over formal, quasi-judicial hearings, adjudicate appeals, and issue written decisions. On behalf of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Law Judges decide all questions of law and fact necessary to a decision by the Secretary under a law that affects the provision of benefits and services by the Secretary to Veterans and their dependents and survivors.

Each judge is responsible for supervising and managing a team of 8-10 attorney-advisors assigned to assist them.

If interested, required qualifications and application procedures can be found at the following USAJOBS link:

The application period ends on Friday, October 1, 2021.
